HELP~CONFUSED ABOUT RELATIONSHIP?

I met a guy online and we chatted for about 8months until he flew across the ocean to see me. We spent 11 days together and he made feel like a princess while he was with me and spent a lot of money on me. I snooped on hia phone as i was anxious about wat he really was and found he had 2 kids not one and several other woman.my qu is y wld he come all the way. Spend so much then go back and never make contact.
